We are thrilled to share, that DET is conducting LNG capacity auctions on PRISMA for the first time. The initial rounds kick off on October 16 and October 23, 2023, offering short-term capacities at the Brunsbüttel and Wilhelmshaven 1 terminals in 2024.

To participate, interested Shippers must be registered on the PRISMA platform and have an active assignment with DET. The linked articles provide instructions on how to do that.

You can find all the details regarding the additional requirements and the process of the auctions explained in detail in DET's Information Memorandum and on the operator's website. Here is an overview of the necessary steps for participants to complete.

1. Sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement available on the DET homepage.
    
2. Sign the Letter of Agreement to be found on the DET homepage.
    
3. Ensure a strong credit rating: You or your parent company must possess an "investment grade" international credit rating, such as "BBB" by S&P Global Inc. or "Baa2" by Moody's Investor Services Inc.
    
4. Confirm eligibility under § 9 (7) "LNG-Verordnung," which disallows long-term terminal capacity holders from participating.

All required documents should be submitted to DET via auctions@energy-terminal.de at least 7 days before the auction starts.

The third tender begins on September 21st, and we're excited to introduce two significant enhancements:

Preferred Terminals for LNG Sellers: Sellers can now specify their preferred delivery terminals in LNG tenders. Both buyers and sellers can see these preferences on matching detail pages, marked with a star icon. Learn more in our AggregateEU Hub.

Pricing Model for LNG Tenders: Sellers must now express their price as either a discount (negative value) or a premium (positive value) in EUR/MWh relative to the Dutch TTF Natural Gas Futures price for the delivery month. Swappde letters, forgottenspaces – no problem thanks to the new fuzzy search algorithm. 

Over the next few weeks, we'll be rolling out this feature in our Network Point Central Search.

This intelligent algorithm understands the context behind your typos, ensuring that the most relevant matches appear at the top of your search results.

Although the result list is longer, you will find what you were looking for more quickly.
Even if you don't enter anything, you'll still receive an initial list of results. Plus, you'll no longer be required to type in a minimum of three characters; the search will kick off immediately with your first keystroke.

For added convenience, you can use TSO Short Names or EIC to swiftly locate the Network Point you're looking for. In the ID column, EIC will also be displayed as additional information.

To ensure we meet your needs, we diligently gathered feedback on your preferences for accessing customized reports covering your past auctions, FCFS bookings, secondary market trades, surrender requests, and reverse auctions within the PRISMA platform.

The majority of you have opted not to utilize the Report Wizard for these tasks. Consequently, we've decided to remove the Report Wizard from our platform by the end of October.
